It was a lovely sunny morning down at Hillock. The atmosphere was buzzing with 3 semi finals and 10 league games it was packed with the colour of green and yellow. We played host to Summerseat our second game against them this season. We just had 11 players, Calum volunteering in goals, thanks. George only had 10 players as two of his players ended up at Radcliffe Town, I thougth we might of been able to take advantage but they arrived just before kick off. We started well but Summerseat were causing us allsorts of problems. With half our squad playing in different positions, it took us about 20 minutes before we started to string some passes together. Summerseat midfield were standing their ground. Aaron and Sam always play well together and their work ratio was starting to pay off. Aaron was moving the ball forward, linking up with Luke and Bradley. Aaron was rewarded with 3 goals. Summerseat scored a good goal, no fault of anyone. half-time 3-1 The second half was tough, the heat played a big part and you could see them running out of steam. James was left back for the first half and moved up on the wing, he took the ball and shot just outside the area, boom great goal. Dean got hit on the nose and down to 10 men, his nose wouldn't stop bleeding, he managed to get back on for the last couple of minutes. Summerseat scored again, 4-2 to us.
