We were away to Bury Amateurs at Drinkwater Park, the pitches looked very green and healthy. All the boys just wanted to play having missed weeks in postponements due to the snow. The weather was miserable rain, windy and cold. We had a 14 player squad and Sean did a great job changing the subs around so no-one got too cold. We started well and after the first goal from Calum we didn't look back. There was some great passing, teamwork and at half-time were 9-1 up. When you say a game of two halves, this was definitely one of those. Bury Amateurs were not defeated and came out fighting in the second half and they scored a couple of good goals and were awarded two penalties. Great save on the first penalty Oli, sorry it had to be retaken. James was man of the match for all his hard work, well done. Well done to Calum for scoring 6 which made it 13-5.
