At the moment, the league fixtures we seem to be playing teams back to back home and away.
Not saturday gone but saturday before that we went over to King George Playing Fields in Radcliffe, an early kick off which we had not yet had.
All our past games have been good close matches and we were looking forward to the match.
My boys held their heads up high even though the result was 6-1 to Radcliffe Town.
Saturday gone it was our turn to play host, we saw some good play from both sides. The first goal was going to prove to be the important one and I have to say Bradley's work ratio paid off with a cracking goal into the back of the net. He spurred everyone on and two more goals we were breezing 3 nil up. Radcliffe weren't giving up and they were causing problems for our defence and they knew our keeper was a stand in and started to test him. Austin was absolutely fabulous he pulled off some remarkable saves and I would like to say a big thank you to you for stepping into the role. You made such a good impression the opposition believed you was a ringer and asked to see your reg form which I showed them.
Radcliffe pulled one back and it was definitely game on, our back four were being tested, Michael and Luke both normally play on the wings but they stepped upto their new roles as right and left back, their pace proved to play in our favour plus the speed of Jacob, incredible. We broke down the wing James shot, their keeper got his hands to it but Calum was their for an easy tap in to make it 4-1. Radcliffe still not giving up and scored we scored again then they scored. The last five minutes was a bit nail biting but it ended 5-3 to the Dragons.

Scorers:
Bradley 2
Calum 1
James 1
