Happy new year!!

Just a quick report on how the team got on today.

Considering we beat this team 10-0 earlier on in the season, i was guilty of thinking this would be a nice easy game to ease us back in after the break.

How wrong was I! Credit has to go to Seedfield on how much they have improved their play (tackling especially), and our lads struggled to break them down in the first half. The break through finally came after about 10 minutes when Rowan hit a long range shot which their goalkeeper couldn`t hold onto and it dropped into the net. Rowan could have had a few more, but his boots which he got for christmas need to be worn in yet!

After a few changes and a chat at half time, the second half was much better and the team managed three goals in five minutes. Rowan got another one, Sam scored a fantastic header from a corner and Jamie also got on the scoresheet.

Thanks for the effort lads and we will resume training again on Tuesday to get ready for our trip to Radcliffe.
