We started very well today with an excellent masterclass in passing and movement. Playing a 4/5/1 formation today, Tom Strong playing lone striker as Morgs is resting an injury. Packing the midfield enabled us to play some beautiful football at times, It was the best Ive seen us play "ever" and Whitworth didnt know what had hit them. Tom grabbing 2 and Nathan "the poacher" Lea ensuring that a he added himself to the scoresheet. In the 1st half. Marcus, Jaydon, Sam and Low in the defence were awesome, Jack (c), Stan, Tom Schofield, Declan and Morgan then Nathan were solid in the middle. Decs and Jack making some lovely runs and same as last week were up against a keeper who was excellent. Our Josh was also excellent today in the 1st making a couple of crucial stops to keep it 3-0 at half time.

We started the 2nd the same as we finished looking very Strong, Whitworth got back into it and managed to get a few, Josh was really unlucky with a couple of these, However too little too late for Whitworth as Tom grabbed another 2 to complete a double brace and Jack Lee also added himself to the scoresheet.

All the boys deserve credit for the 1st half performance especially however in the second when we needed to, we dug in and worked hard. We are very lucky to have some wonderful talent within our team, Some great play and too much to mention although we had a double MOM today Stan and Sam were recognised as having an outstanding game today so shared this acolade, Special mention to Low who I thought also had a good game and seems to be getting used to the pace of our games and doing what he needs to do for the team. Well done Boys!!!!!
