A Game of 2 Halfs it certainly was today on a very poor pitch, a hill i think most would describe it as, but well it was the same for both teams! We started badly letting in an early goal AGAIN! but we were at the bottom of the hill in the 1st half so the momemtum was with the home team. We had quite a few chances after that, that we should have buried really with Tom Strong and Morgan going close, I thought we were quite well organise in defence then they hit us for another 2 making it 3-0 to Lilltleborough. Tom Schofield got us back into it with another goal, well done Tom. Half time team talk was needed and 1 or 2 little tweeks on the pitch, the lads responded with an early goal from Morgan Champagnie excellent work Morgan, not long after that Tom Strong added to the score sheet 3-3, which way would it go with 20 mins to go?? Morgan again scored to make it 3-4 to the Hawks,Declan also had a great game with some excellent attacking play, we bossed it from then on and were excellent in the 2nd half, it was a great game for the neutral and a close call. Great to keep that 2nd half clean sheet, well done Josh!, excellent defending by all the boys, Marcus certainly making the difference there linking up with Jadon. Thought our new signing Morgan Hall did well at left and right back on his debut and proved hes not going to hold back on challenging for that ball. Jack lee again great vision and captaincy of the team. Nathan and Belani also putting a shift in as wingbacks to stem the flow from Littleborough, Overall a great team performance to come back from 3 nil down and an excellent team effort! Some great passing and finishing when it was needed. Parents Man of the match goes to Stan,I can't believe this lad only started playing competitive football last year, he was excellent, never frightened to challenge, runs his heart out and can pick out a pass, great in defence or midfield, Well done mate! Again this was a great result against a good team, they were very organised and worked hard, they will do well this season. So again BE PROUD OF YOURSELVES for a well deserved victory!
