With our new Capt Harrison The boys started well today after going 1 down we pulled it back through a good goal from Tom Strong. When we pass the ball like we did in the 1st half we were as good as anyone in that league, lets not forget Bury Ams are a very good side fighting for the title.
Shame the whistle went because the 2nd half was a different story, we were short of players today and could not freshen it up when needed but you all fought hard out there. Jack and Lewis took some knocks and had to come off during various periods of the game.Mark made some excellent saves and Tom and Marcus looked strong at the back, Declan, H, Jack and Lewis worked hard in the mid and on the wings well done to all of you for the effort today boys, you were all man of the match today because of your efforts out there against a top side who deserved the victory, good luck to them for the rest of the season.
They are the benchmark for us and we are learning all the time playing against some very good teams in the Bury Prem, we are not far off I am sure of that. Keep listening and trying your best in training and in games and you wont go far wrong!!
