A trip to Chadderton to play bottom of the league, we started well the first 10 mins was excellent with some great passing, Lexi scored a great goal from distance just a shame the ref blew as it left his foot for Lew down with Mud in his eye. They scored shortly afterwards to make it 1-0.

Half time came and the team talk must have inspired the lads because Marcus scored a nice goal latching on to a loose ball, running it down the left before scoring our only goal, a great debut from Marcus! It was fairly even from then on until the ref let a one on one that resulted in a foul on Tom Sch play on, they scored from this to make it 2-1, Jack hit the crossbar shortly afterwards again not to be our day.

This team played very well to be fair and we should have done better, the pitch did not help it was the worst weve played on this season, the moles had been doing a bit of digging the night before and it was a heavy pitch. And the ref made a poor decision for the 2nd goal but we should have done enough to see this team off without worrying about him.

When we passed the ball we looked dangerous and played some nice football although out of all the games we have played it was probably one of our worst performances, It wasnt to be on the day, we are still learning and developing.

In the cup next week against ?? Oh Unsworth Demons, we are at home, I am sure Keith and myself will see 100% commitment from each and every one of the lads next saturday as we would all like a good cup run.
